The exhibition was born out of an interest by one of our interns Denisa (co-curator) that had adopted a beautiful greyhound Daphne. An open call out was made to artists with proceeds being donated to charity. The exhibition lasted for two weeks and was our most successful exhibition of the year with an amazing turnout for the opening.
The exhibition also incorporated an amazing Greyhound life drawing hosted by the talented Lucy (Yu) Lawes. The event was a sellout and so much fun had by humans and snoots alike.
The last event was a leisurely greyhound walk around the Docklands. Twas another fun experience and I got to meet my first little Italian greyhound that was full of energy and excited to meet the other snoots.
A big thanks to all the artists that contributed artwork and the people that purchased them that helped to make this exhibition such a success. We look forward to holding more exhibitions like this in the future.
